This brush is well-made. It has a wooden body with both copper and boars hair bristles. Using this brush has definitely added shininess and softness to my dog's coat, and every time my dog sees me pick it up, he comes over and lays down next to me so he can get brushed. (My dog approves of this brush.) The only con is that the brush is not easy to clean. I'm still trying to figure that out.
