The stem of this product is a lot stiffer than it looks, and I wouldn't call it flexible. At first I thought it didn't flex at all. It's as strong as rebar. Then my husband said, "I can get it to flex" and he bent it. So it does flex, although it takes some strength. Not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing. I just expected a more flexible tool so I could easily move it around to point at the area I want to do a hands-free blow on the dog.
